The installation of an afterburner at Amcor was a project carried out in close proximity. As always, the execution of the work required meticulous planning due to the need for precise collaboration with other services and companies. Professional firefighters, who routinely save the lives of miners, oversaw safety during welding operations inside the machine chamber. Furthermore, the work was monitored using specialized cameras. The safety of our employees is our priority, which is why the erection of scaffolding, necessary for this project, was under strict OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) supervision. We take pride in our qualified team of welders who, during this unique undertaking, were equipped with specialized personal protective equipment. The installation of the afterburner necessitated the use of heavy lifting equipment, including a crane with a lifting capacity of up to 250 tons, a 100-ton platform, forklifts, and mobile elevating work platforms. The installation of this machine enables the Client to incinerate production toxins, contributing to cleaner air in our local environment. The work was completed professionally and 1.5 days ahead of schedule.
